Fund objectives
FTSE ADS Saudi Minimum Variance is an open-ended public fund with daily liquidity, invested exclusively in equities listed on Saudi Arabia’s Tadawul stock exchange. Co-developed with FTSE Russell, the fund targets risk-adjusted market returns in the medium to long run by applying a transparent rule-based approach – called Smart Beta – that reduces the volatility of the index it tracks. This index is rebalanced periodically.
As a testimony to the market’s increased confidence in the fund, in 2022 FTSE ADS Saudi Minimum Variance received regulatory approval for retail distribution and significantly reduced its minimum investment requirement.
